한국 전통 서예의 먹선에서 영감을 받아 제작한 Muk Necklace입니다.

먹선은 하나의 점에서 시작되어 끊임없이 이어지며 글을 완성하고 의미를 만들어냅니다.

이 피스는 먹선의 흐름을 조형적으로 재해석하여, 하나의 유닛이 반복적으로 연결되는 형태로 제작하였습니다.

이어지는 선들은 사람과 사람의 인연, 세대를 거쳐 전해지는 이야기, 그리고 오랜 시간 이어져 온 소망을 상징합니다.

각각의 유닛은 하나의 작은 바람이 되어 서로 연결되고, 그 연결은 더 큰 의미와 염원을 만들어냅니다.

끊어지지 않고 이어지는 먹선처럼, 오너분들의 소망과 인연 또한 오래도록 이어지기를 바라는 마음으로 제작했습니다.

Inspired by the flowing ink lines of traditional Korean calligraphy, the Muk Necklace reinterprets the symbolism of connection and continuity into a sculptural form.

A brushstroke begins from a single point and extends without interruption, creating meaning through its continuous flow.

This piece is composed of repeating linked units, inspired by the movement of ink lines and the beauty of enduring connections.

The flowing lines symbolize the bonds between people, stories passed down through generations, and wishes that continue through time.

Each unit represents a small hope, and together they create a larger narrative of connection, aspiration, and shared meaning.

Like many pieces within MNO's Totem Collection, the Muk Necklace draws inspiration from symbols that have carried human beliefs and wishes throughout history, reinterpreting them into a contemporary piece of jewelry.
